Ceramic Sculpture & Throw Wheel
1st-6th
Ceramic Sculpture & Throw Wheel teaches students fundamental hand-building and wheel throwing techniques through the creation of fun and unique ceramic projects. Students will learn various surface treatments and decoration techniques. This class also examines the long and diverse histories of ceramics across the globe.
Project Subjects:
Ocarinas, sgraffito, Nerikomi, masks, fantasy animals, candle holders, vases, planters, imagined architecture, cups & bowls.
